Karsten Stokkking is a currently leading the marketing efforts for IBM's Waston Customer Engagement team. He has been working with marketing for 14 years and have a deep interest on how technology can drive growth and specifically around engagement. Currently he is also leading the efforts towards the marketing professional with an emphasis on how technology can augment the CMOs in achieving their goals.

Karsten has over the year worked with portfolio marketing,marketing strategy. campaigns, marketing automation, digital marketing, customer journeys, content marketing and therefore has a broad perspective on marketing. While primarily have been working in B2B the last couple of years he has gotten deeper insights to the B2C in retail. Karsten is passionate around customer engagement in an omnichannel world which also something he covers in his newly established blog - stokking.digital.

With a pragmatic approach, he understands the complexities and challenges of defining an automated marketing strategy for a business and ultimately implementing effective automated marketing campaigns that drive conversion, increase customer value, engender loyalty and provide relevant messages at the right time and in the right channel be that email, SMS or mobile push notifications.
