Application Deadline 22.10.2026
Do you love gaming, social media and creator culture – and do you know how to make a global brand feel local?
We are looking for a Brand Engagement & Community Specialist for Denmark to join PlayStation Nordic as a fixed-term maternity cover from 1st January 2027 to 1st of February 2028.
This role sits in our Marketing team and is all about bringing PlayStation closer to players every day through social media, influencer collaborations, local content and community management.
This is a hands-on role. You will not just sit in meetings talking about campaigns. You will help make them happen.
You will work closely with our Leads across social media, PR, influencers, brand partnerships, sponsorships and campaigns – and you will be one of the people making sure PlayStation shows up in a way that feels relevant, local and real.
What you’ll be doing
Social media, content and community
You will help run PlayStation’s Danish social channels day to day. That means planning, publishing, adapting content, engaging with the community and making sure our tone feels right for our Danish audience.
You will work with global assets, Danish ideas and real-time opportunities across channels like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
In practice, this means:
- Adapting global PlayStation content so it works in Danish language, tone and context
- Supporting the local social media calendar
- Publishing and scheduling content (in collaboration with student assistant)
- Managing community engagement and comments
- Spotting local trends and moments we can react to
- Supporting live coverage around events, campaigns and sponsorships
- Making sure our content feels like PlayStation, but also like it belongs locally
You will also collaborate with the Danish student assistant on relevant tasks such as translations, content adaptations and community work.
Influencers and creators
Creators are a big part of how we bring PlayStation to life in the Nordics. You will support our local influencer work, from finding the right profiles to briefing, seeding and following up on content.
You will work closely with our PR & Influencer Lead, but you will also be expected to take ownership of the day-to-day coordination in the Danish market.
This includes:
- Building and maintaining relationships with Danish creators and PlayStation Playmakers
- Supporting influencer briefings, seedings and content follow-up
- Coordinating products, merchandise and hardware where relevant
- Tracking creator content and helping report on performance
- Making sure creators are properly briefed and aligned with PlayStation guidelines
Campaign and partnership support
You will be involved in some of the biggest PlayStation moments of the year. That can be major game launches, hardware pushes, UEFA sponsorship activations, retail collaborations, influencer events or local content ideas.
You will help turn strategy into actual execution.
That means:
- Supporting priority campaigns in the Danish market
- Contributing with local ideas and cultural input
- Helping execute brand partnership and sponsorship activations
- Supporting events, press moments and consumer activations
- Working in Monday.com to keep tasks, owners and deadlines clear
- Making sure local execution is on time and on brief
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is structured, curious and genuinely interested in gaming, social media and online communities.
You do not need to know everything from day one. But you do need to be proactive, willing to learn and comfortable working in a team where many things move at the same time.
You probably bring:
- Danish at native level, especially written Danish
- Strong English skills
- Good understanding of social media and creator culture
- A strong feel for what works in Denmark
- Good writing skills and attention to tone of voice
- Confidence in coordinating tasks and keeping projects moving
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work with several stakeholders at once
- Interest in gaming, entertainment and online communities
- Experience with social media, influencer work, content production, communications or marketing
- Familiarity with tools like Monday.com, Upfluence or Emplifi is a plus, but not a requirement
Most importantly, you are someone people enjoy working with. We need someone who can take responsibility, communicate clearly and help make the team better.
What can you expect?
You will join a team that cares deeply about PlayStation, but also about doing good work together.
We are a Nordic team working across multiple markets, cultures and disciplines. Some days are structured. Some days are messy. That is part of the job. But you will be close to great campaigns, major game launches, creators, communities and some of the biggest entertainment moments of the year.
You will get responsibility, trust and room to contribute.

About Nordisk Film
Nordisk Film was founded in 1906 in Valby, by entrepreneur Ole Olsen and is one of the world’s first film companies. They still have their headquarters in Valby, next to the world’s oldest film studio building and still own strong cultural values of passion and ambition.
In 1992, Nordisk Film became part of Egmont, a Nordic media group, and has within recent years seen high growth rates. In just over five years their revenues have increased with nearly 40%, and activities now span much wider than the film business that was the starting point. Today, Nordisk Film is among the leading entertainment companies in the Nordics involved in film and series production and distribution, cinemas, computer games, digital gifting and digital advertising.
For more than 20 years, and since the launch of Sony PlayStation, Nordisk Film Interactive has been the official distributor of the console and games in the Nordics and Baltics, and have made it one of Sony’s most successful markets.
