Erfaring

Thomas karriere som leder startede i 1993 som Marketing Director hos Sophus Berendsen Group. Efterfølgende har han været Senior Management Consultant hos Accenture og Branch Director Framfab (LBi). I 2003 begyndte han som Director of Operations hos OgilvyOne Singapore og endte på posten som Managing Director, da han i 2014 fik sin stilling hos Accenture Interactive med ansvar for ASEAN.

Motivation

Thomas er en fremtrædende digital marketer med en international karriere. Han har for alvor vist sit lederpotentiale i Singapore, hvor han p.t. arbejder for Accenture Interactive i en fremtrædende rolle. Som tidligere Managing Director for OgilvyOne Singapore udviklede han forretningen med nye ekspertiseområder i social, CRM og data. Nu som Managing Director for ASEAN, hos Accenture Interactive viser Thomas, at han er innovativ og en digital leder, der med stort ansvar forstår at løse virksomhedens digitale udfordringer. Derudover har Thomas et skarpt øje for at tiltrække de rigtige kreative og digitale kompetencer til regionen, som i dén grad illustrerer en udvkling, hvor konsulenthusene æder sig ind på de klassiske bureauers hjemmbane. Det er blandt andet Thomas’ digitale og fremadskuende rådgivningsevner, der i år placerer ham på årets M List.

HVAD ER DIN STØRSTE PROFESSIONELLE SUCCES I 2016?

1) Introduction of new services: Customer experience, service design and technology platforms. 2) Established a growth program together with Singapore Government which allows us to hire 80 Digital specialists. 3) Grown our sales by 40 % and raised our profitability by another 6 % points in 2016.

HVAD HAR VÆRET DIN STØRSTE PROFESSIONELLE SKUFFELSE I 2016?

At times I find it disappointing the amount of time I need to spend on internal meetings and politics, which often does not contribute to the development and execution of my business plan.

HVAD ER DIN STØRSTE MARKETINGMÆSSIGE UDFORDRING I 2017?

One of the biggest and most exciting opportunities we have in 2017 is to establish one of our sister companies under Accenture Interactive in Singapore. We are in the middle of hiring the MD and expect to be a team of 14-18 consultants in this new business at the end of 2017.

HVOR FINDER DU DIN FAGLIGE INSPIRATION?

I have built a great team of people with great digital skills and background. The role of Accenture Interactive is to innovate and build great customer experience. AI plays the role of differentiation in the Accenture group, and I have great many colleagues and team mates around the world which gives me fantastic inspiration on a daily bases.

Innovate, design, prototype, test and learn.We need to help our customers learn. The best clients and most likely the companies with best ability to win in the future, are the ones that are able to be innovative and learn fast. As part of the consulting and advertising industries we need to be much better to work under these new guiding principles with our customers.

HVIS 2017 SKAL VÆRE EN SUCCES FOR DIG, HVAD SKAL DU SÅ OPNÅ?

We are ready to deliver a fantastic 2017. We are setting up our sister company under Accenture Accenture. We will continue developing our capabilities under Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, Content and eCommerce.
