Erfaring

No One Lives Like You”. Hannah står skarpt på The M Talents.

HVAD HAR VÆRET DIN STØRSTE PROFESSIONELLE SUCCES I 2019?

I was dealing with a severe case of imposter syndrome when rejoining AKQA, as I was tasked with developing a strategy for a global e-commerce website (which I’d never done before). When I presented my work to a member of the client’s board, he asked if he could steal two of my key slides to share with other stakeholders. That felt pretty epic.

HVAD ER DIT MÅL FOR 2020?

When working at a company whose motto is “The future, faster”, it’s not uncommon to work on projects with solutions that have never before been done. In order to prepare for the unknown, I plan to build on and hone my approach to strategy, which is so many different things today, ask a tonne of questions, and keep learning. No biggie.

HVILKEN ROLLE SER DU DIG SELV I OM FEM ÅR?

Many titles these days are meaningless, so I don’t have a specific one in mind. But I see myself in a quite senior role where I can mentor people, which I really enjoy doing and have done whilst at Uncle Grey and also as Director of St Andrews’ TEDx conference. That way, I’d be able to be both a good leader and do good work. Win win.

HVAD ER DIT BEDSTE RÅD TIL BRANCHENS SENIORPROFILER?

Hire more foreigners. Denmark may be small, but the industry here is big, and is impressively putting itself on the international creativity map. But, for me, the most creative (and interesting) work comes from teams formed of people from all over. Creating a melting pot produces more original thinking, which elevates work. It’s that simple.

HVILKE TRE EGENSKABER KARAKTERISERER DIG BEDST?

I love a good challenge and am not afraid of tackling something I’ve never done before, so in that sense, I’d say I’m fearless. I’m also often the asshole that doesn’t stop asking questions or playing devil’s advocate, because I’m curious. But it’s because I care – about others, about the work – I’m empathetic. I think my mum would agree.

HVOR HENTER DU INSPIRATION HENNE?

“Everywhere” would be too generic. So I’ll say: from observing humans (slightly less generic). It sounds creepy, but I find people-watching fascinating. Sometimes I even take notes on individuals’ amusing or intriguing behaviour. I even wrote a short story about my observations at university. So watch out, I may write about you next!
