Erfaring:
Jesper har bred designerfaring fra diverse kreative stillinger og startede karrieren som Senior Designer hos Landor Asscociates i Paris. En driftig mand, der i 1999 var med til at stifte Scandinavian Group, i 2004 Scandinavian DesignLab og i 2010 3X, hvor han fungerede som Strategic Creative Director, indtil han i 2016 blev Strategic Creative Director hos Pearlfisher.

Jesper von Wieding er en stærk kreativ designprofil med mere end 25 års erfaringfra både den danske og internationale designbranche. Han er derudover tidligere medstifter af flere prominente designbureauer – herunder Scandinavian Design Group og Scandinavian DesignLab. Det er derfor ikke uden grund, at det netop var Jesper, der i 2016 var med til at åbne en dansk afdeling af det anerkendte internationale brand- og designbureau, Pearlfisher. Jespers evne til at kombinere globalt udsyn med lokal indsigt og forståelse i sine designs, gør ham til en af de dygtigste kreative designprofiler herhjemme. Det er netop Jespers kreative kompetencer, æstetiske blik og evne til at opbygge vellykkede langsigtede relationer til sine kunder, der igen i år sikrer ham en plads på årets The M List.
Hvad har været din største professionelle succes i 2018?
Bringing life to some really exciting challenges and iconic brands, and that Pearlfisher has committed to designing a future where packaging and waste have zero impact, we call this Lightweighting – a design paradigm that isn't just about making things lighter, but is an actionable and ownable way forbrands to become more sustainable.
Hvad ville du gerne have gjort mere af i 2018?
We recently designed and co-founded "No Plastic in the Oceans" logo for a brand we created called SeaMan Seaweed Chips to drive more focus on the recyclability of plastic and ensure it doesn't end up in our oceans. I'm very proud to be championing this crucial message, but I wish we'd done it sooner.
Hvad bliver din største marketing udfordring i 2019?
Working with brands across the globe helping every one of our clients demystify the concept of "sustainability" and understand how they can use design thinking to consider their entire lifecycle, from their brand innovations and the effects of their supply chain, to how they communicate with their consumers and the legacy they leave behind.
Hvordan forventer du, at din rolle vil forandre sig i 2019?
I see my role becoming much more focused on increasing the awareness of our agency, celebrating the talented people that work within it, and bring to life and champion the work of our fantastic clients. As the world changes, we are much more aware of the footprint we are leaving behind!
Hvis der var en i branchen du skulle give et skulderklap - hvem skulle det være og hvorfor?
There are many people in business I would like to celebrate. But Søren Flemming Larsen, CEO and partner at Interflora DK deserves to be celebrated for his bravery and boldness: always questioning the status quo to launch new products into the portfolio and continuously pushing the business to evolve and grow.
Hvis 2019 skal være en succes for dig, hvad skal du så opnå?
For me, the biggest success of 2019 will be seeing the impact – on society, on culture and on the world – of the creative partnerships we've formed with our clients to design more positive legacies for their brands across their entire brand journey. Crucially, success for me will be marked by every brand recognising the role they need to play.
