På nær en enkelt er alle Cannes Lions-shortlisterne tirsdag morgen, den 23. juni, offentliggjort – og der er gode nyheder, set med danske briller.
Ud af 21 shortlister i Creative Effectiveness – festivalens prestigefulde effektkategori – er de tre således danske.
De to går til sidste års danske Grand Prix-vinder, AKQA Danmarks ’Sounds Right’ for ’Museum for the United Nations – UN Live’, og en går til NoA / &Co. og Kind Films massivt prisvindende case ’Pass it on – Use you Vote’ for EU Parlamentet.
Hertil er casen ‘Pickle it Forward’ for McDonald’s fra Nord i København shortlistet to gange i kategorien Creative Commerce.
Dermed når det officielle antal danske shortlister ved dette års Cannes Lions op på 26.
Hertil kommer dog en række andre cases, som er indsendt af andre landes bureauer, men hvor der er sat markante kreative danske fingeraftryk.
Delt gælder for eksempel casen ’The Most Brilliant Failure’ for den schweiziske urproducent IWC Shaffhausen, der er shortlistet i blandt andet Film, Film Craft og i Luxury.
Den er indsendt af Scholz & Friends i Berlin, men filmen er instrueret af danske Rune Milton, produceret af Thirsty og postproduceret af Chemistry.
I Film Craft har de danske lyddesignere hos Ballad haft en finger med i spillet i filmen ’The Gucci Lido Campaign’ for Gucci, og i kategorien Industry Craft er danske Bacon med på den shortlistede case ’Tiny Coffee Shops’ fra Lola Madrid for Delonghi.
Og så er danske Jeppe Vidstrup, kreativ på adam&eveDDB i London, medskaber på bureauets arbejde for sports- og outdoorbrancet Columbia, der har hevet stribevis af shortlister hjem.
Med dagens høst er alle årets shortlister offentliggjort undtagen kategorien Sustainable Development Goals, der kommer i morgen, onsdag den 24. juni.
Markedsføring følger festivalen ugen igennem.
